Opening the unit, for whatever reason, could lead to damages that are not covered by the guarantee.

To avoid electrical shock, do not open the cabinet. Refer servicing to qualified personnel only.

Audio and picture distortion may occur if this equipment is positioned in close proximity to any equipment emitting electromagnetic
radiation.

To prevent fire or shock hazard, do not expose your Sony Personal Computer to rain or moisture.

When transporting the unit, prevent foreign objects from causing a malfunction by using the battery pack, the connector covers
and the supplied slot protectors if there is any.

Unplug all connected cables including the telephone cord and the power cord when you hear thunder.

Only connect 10BASE-T, 100BASE-TX, and 1000BASE-T cables to the computer network jack. Do not connect any other type of
network cable or any telephone line.
The computer network jack cannot be connected to a telephone line, a coin-operated telephone, a digital private branch exchange
(PBX), or multiple phone lines.
These connections may result in an electric current overload and could cause a malfunction, excessive heat, or fire in the
connector.
For the settings and devices needed to connect to the network, please ask your network administrator.

The socket-outlet shall be installed near the equipment and shall be easily accessible.

Do not block air intake vents and air exhaust vents. Also, do not place your computer on a bed, sofa, or rug.

This product has been tested and found compliant with the limits set out in the EMC regulation for using connection cables shorter
than 3 meters.

To change the backup battery, please contact your nearest Sony Service Centre.

Before you connect peripherals, turn off the computer and all peripherals.
