Lens cleaning
When dust is on the lens surface
Remove it with a camera blower or with a soft brush.
When the lens surface is smeared with grease
Remove the grease by wiping the lens spirally from the
center to the edge with a rinsed out cotton cloth or a lens
cleaning paper soaked lightly in commercially available lens
detergent.
Operating conditions
After using in a damp location
Wipe the lens with a dry soft cloth, then store it in a vinyl
bag with sufficient desiccant to remove the moisture.
Using under rainy conditions
Waterproofing is recommended.
Using under windy or dusty conditions
Attach or replace the lens quickly, ensuring that dust does
not get into the equipment.
Mount the lens to a recommended video
camera
Use of a video camera other than those specified in this
manual may lead to fire and/or injury.
