Close-ups (Macro)
When the subject is closer than 0.95 m (37 inches) to the
lens surface, adjust the focus using the macro function.
The following is an example of macro shooting using the
RM-C950 remote control unit (not supplied).

Turn the FOCUS knob to NEAR as far as it goes.

Turn the ZOOM knob to change the size of the subject
on the monitor screen as desired.

Pull the macro lever to release the lock, and turn it to
the direction of the arrow to adjust the focus.
If you can not obtain a sharp focus by turning the macro
lever to the direction of the arrow as far as it goes,
adjust the focus by turning the ZOOM knob toward
WIDE.
When you finish macro shooting
Turn the macro lever to the opposite direction to the arrow
until it locks.
