Safety Precautions
Do not allow foreign object to enter the unit
Allowing water or other foreign object to enter the cabinet
may lead to fire and/or injury. If water or other foreign
objects happen to enter the cabinet, switch off the power of
the connected video camera, disconnect the connecting
cables and contact your authorized Sony dealer.
Do not dismantle or modify the unit
Disassembly or modification of the unit may lead to fire
and/or injury. Leave all adjustments, inspections and repairs
of internal components to your authorized Sony dealer.
Be sure to install the unit properly
For queries on installation, contact the store where you
purchased the product, or contact your authorized Sony
dealer.
When attaching the unit to a wall or ceiling, make sure the
point of attachment has sufficient strength to support the
weight of the unit and mounting brackets. If the point of
attachment lacks sufficient strength, the unit may fall,
resulting in severe injury. Check once every year to see that
the mounting brackets remain tight.
Be sure that the lens is screwed on to the
camera properly
Always be sure that the lens is mounted to the video camera
securely. A loosely attached lens may unfasten and fall,
resulting in personal injury.
Check once every year to see that the lens remains firmly
attached.
