END OUT Terminal
When the VCR detects the tape end or the time counter
shows “2H57M” during recording, the output level
becomes 0 V DC. To resume the 5 V output, press the
operation button (

Select either the tape end or “2H57M” on the
OTHERS display.
• –3M: the time counter shows “2H57M” (three
minutes before the tape end when using E-180 tape)
and a signal is output from the END OUT terminal
(recording will be continued to the end of the tape).
• END: the VCR detects the tape end.

REMOTE Jack
The VCR can be remotely controlled by using the
SVT-RM10 Remote Control Unit (not supplied) or
adding the circuit shown below to the REMOTE jack.
Notes
• Use a shielded cord less than 5 m (16 ft.) in length.
• The recording indicator on the SVT-RM10 does not
light.
