When Using One Unit as a Master VCR

Press MENU until the CLOCK ADJUSTMENT
display appears on the screen.

Set the time for clock setting by pressing REC/
PLAY SPEED +/–.

Press SEARCH to return to the normal display.

When using an external switch:
When you turn the switch on and an input signal is
received at the CLOCK SET IN terminal, the
clocks of all the connected VCRs will be set to the
time adjusted in step 2.
When using one unit as the master VCR:
When the clock of the master VCR comes to the
time adjusted in step 2, the signal will be output
from the CLOCK SET OUT terminal to set the
clocks of the other connected VCRs.
Master VCR
WARNING OUT Terminal
This terminal will help you to know when something
wrong has happened to the VCR during recording (e.g.
the clog detection function starts to work). The VCR
outputs a signal from WARNING OUT terminal.
Note
To turn the clog detection function off, set CLOG
DETECT to N (no) on the OTHERS menu.
RS-232C Interface
When a personal computer is connected via RS-232C
interface (SVT-RS1A Computer Interface Board), set
the baud rate on the OTHERS screen.

Press MENU until the OTHERS display appears
on the screen.

Press

SHIFT to move the flashing to RS-232C
and set the baud rate (1200, 2400, 4800 or 9600
bps) by pressing REC/PLAY SPEED+/–.

Press SEARCH to return to the normal display.
