3-7-1. Capstan Motor

[Case 1. High speed FF/REW model]

1.

Refer to Section 3-2, then remove the mechanism unit.

2.

Remove the reel belt

3.

Remove the three screws

 and the capstan motor

3

.

4.

Remove the heat transfer spacer 

4

 from the capstan

motor 

3

 or mechanism chassis.

Assembly Notes:

1.

Check that connector

 is inserted in the CP-1 PWB

assembly.

2.

When fitting the three screws

, use the torque gauge

screwdriver (VHJ-0014). Give the screws a tightening

torque of 3.5 kg

.

After assembly, clean the capstan shaft with a soft

cloth or chamois.
