1-4-14. Stepping Motor Assembly (TILT)

The stepping motor assembly (TILT) is not prepared for spare parts. When replacing the
MD-151 board, replace the service motor assembly (MD-151) TG. (Refer to Section 2.)

In the service motor assembly (MD-151) TG, the stepping motor assembly (PAN) and stepping
motor assembly (TILT) have a distinguishing mark on the connector portion respectively so that
you can tell the difference between them.
The connector on the stepping motor assembly (PAN) and the connector (CN401) on the
MD-151 board are marked with black paint, and the connector on the stepping motor assembly
(TILT) and the connector (CN501) on the MD-151 board are marked with blue paint.
1. Remove the cabinet. (Refer to Section 1-3.)
2. Remove the TILT block. (Refer to Section 1-4-3.)
3. Remove the DC fan. (Refer to Section 1-4-8.)
4. Remove the CN-3521 board. (Refer to Section 1-4-9.)
5. Remove the FCB assembly. (Refer to Section 1-4-10.)
6. Remove the center cabinet. (Refer to Section 1-4-11.)
7. Remove the MD-151 board. (Refer to Section 1-4-12.)
8. Rotate the FCB holder in the direction of the arrow.
9. Remove the two screws, then remove the stepping motor assembly (TILT).
10. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

The combination of the stepping motor assembly (TILT) and stepping motor assembly
(PAN) is predetermined. Be careful not to wrongly combine them.

When attaching the timing belt, loosen the two screws of the stepping motor assembly
(TILT), then fully tighten the screws while pushing it in the direction of the arrow.

Attach the stepping motor assembly (TILT) so that the tension of its timing belt is the
same as that of the stepping motor assembly (PAN).
FCB holder
After the FCB holder is rotated, the stepping motor
assembly is positioned as shown in this illustration.
