To remove a floppy disk

Close all programs that were opened from the disk and wait for the LED
indicator to turn off.

Push the Eject button, and remove the disk.
Disconnecting a floppy disk drive
You can disconnect a floppy disk drive when the computer is on or off.
Disconnecting the drive when the computer is in a power saving mode (Standby
or Hibernate) may cause the computer to malfunction.
Inserting a Floppy Disk

Do not open the shutter manually and touch the surface of the floppy disk.

To avoid losing data, do not push the Eject button when the LED indicator is on.
