The Tool Box window appears.

Click Add.
The Add New Access Point dialog box appears.

Type the Nickname, Access Point ID, and
Encryption Key.
The Nickname identifies the Access Point. Enter
up to 16 alphanumeric characters for the
Nickname. You can enter up to 16 characters and
symbols (ASCII characters). If multiple Access
Points exist, make sure to assign a unique name to
each one.
For details about Access Point ID and Encryption
Key, refer to the operating instructions of the
Access Point.

Tips
• If the Access Point is
already configured, the
Encryption Key may
have been changed.
Contact your network
administrator for
instructions.
• If the Encryption Key is
specified, wireless
communications are
encrypted for
protection against
unauthorized
reception.
• You can also identify
Access Points within
the range of
communication range
by opening the Access
Point ID drop-down
menu.

Select Peer to Peer to
establish wireless
communications
between computers
without using the
Access Point. For more
information, see the
