Remove the top of the unit as
shown below.

Remove the bottom of the unit in
the same way.

Disconnect the battery
connector.

Remove the battery.

Insulate the connector
terminal by wrapping with a
tape.

Do not hold the battery with metallic
tweezers, otherwise a short-circuit may
occur.
