3-1-7. Audio AD/DA Block
This block is used to cope with the input/output bi-directional of an audio signal. An audio input signal is
sent to S701 through pin 4 of CN805. S701 switches MIC and LINE inputs. During setting of a MIC
input, audio data is amplified by about 50 dB using IC701 and input to IC702. During setting of a LINE
input, audio data is input to IC702 without passing through an amplifier buffer. IC702 converts the input
audio data from analog to digital. The digitized audio data is transferred to IC101. During output of an
audio signal, audio data is input from IC101 to IC702. IC702 converts the input audio data from digital to
analog. The converted analog audio signal is output to the outside through pins 1 and 2 of CN805.
3-1-8. Sensor Input Block
A sensor input signal is input from CN806 to the I/O port of IC101 through a photocoupler (PH801).
Main CPU (IC101) monitors the state of this sensor input signal and performs the required processing that
was set.
3-1-9. Alarm Output Block
In an alarm output circuit, a relay control signal is output from IC101 to two relays (RY801 and RY802)
so as to turn on and off the switch in relays. When the relays are set to ON, pins 3 and 4 or pins 5 and 6
of CN806 are turned on so that the external equipment connected to the output line of an I/O (input/
output) cable can operate.
3-1-10. Ethernet Controller Block
Main CPU (IC101) sends and receives data, flowing through an Ethernet controller (IC301) and LAN, via
a PCI bus. The Ethernet controller is connected with a network through a pulse transformer (T300) and
CN301. EEPROM (IC303) connected to IC301 stores the setting information of IC301.
3-1-11. SDRAM (System)
IC501 and IC502 are SDRAM that has a capacity of 64 M bytes in total. They are used as the working
memory of main CPU (IC101). When the power is turned on, the operation program of this unit or Web
contents are stored in this SDRAM from flash memory so that main CPU (IC101) operates.
3-1-12. Flash Memory Block
IC601 is NOR-type flash memory that has a capacity of 32 M bytes. Data concerning the software, Web
contents, or system environmental information required for operating this unit is stored in this memory.
Data is read and written from IC603 between IC601 and main CPU (IC101) through buffer IC605. The
software stored in flash memory can be upgraded via a network.
