14.  Confirm that abnormal noise from a lens is not heard. Push the ENTER key.

 

15.  “LENS DEVICE (FOCUS SSM Noise) CHECK COMP” is displayed.

 

16.  Recording the adjustment data and releasing the adjustment mode are performed automatically by pushing the ENTER key. After processing, 

“FINISHED” is displayed.

Adjustment Method of “Lens Device 2 (S)”

About “Lens Device 2 (S)” item, the operation of lens side is required.

Note: 

 When operating the lens, hold a camera body by hand firmly so that the lens does not move, and then operate it.

 

At this time, never touch the focus ring.

1.   After clicking the [Lens Device 2 (S)] button, “PLEASE INPUT DRIVE FREQUENCY” and * * * are displayed, input the number (three digits) 

that is written on the flexible of the ultrasonic motor (stator).

 

2.   After completing the adjustment, “LENS DEVICE (FOCUS SSM LOAD) ADJUSTMENT OK” is displayed.

 

3.   Recording the adjustment data and releasing the adjustment mode are performed automatically by pushing the ENTER key. After processing, 

“FINISHED” is displayed.
