Installing or Removing Cassettes
Install or remove cassettes using the following
procedure.
1
Press the OPEN/CLOSE button of the IN/OUT
port.
The port rotates, and the door opens.
2
Load or remove cassettes.
To load a cassette, follow the instructions and
illustrations posted on the IN/OUT port.
3
Press the OPEN/CLOSE button.
The door closes.
Note
If you do not close the door, it automatically closes
after about one minute.
MMT On-Line Help
The MMT (Monitoring & Maintenance Terminal)
helps you monitor and maintain the system and drives
mounted in the system with the GUI (Graphical User
Interface). The MMT has the following functions:
•
Status display of the PetaSite and mounted drives
•
Information on the cassettes loaded in the PetaSite
•
Firmware version of the PetaSite and mounted drives
•
Monitoring the operating conditions of drives
•
Collection and display of log data on the PSC,
PetaSite and each drive
•
Settings of the PSC and PetaSite
•
On-line Help for the above functions
The operation of each function and the contents
displayed are shown with the on-line help. To refer to
on-line help, click on the Help button in the MMT
window.
