Display panel
The operating conditions, status, etc., of the system
appear here. Using this panel, initialization of the
system, and menu operation for checking the system
configuration and hours meters are also possible.

IN/OUT port
This port is for loading and removing cassettes. The
upper and lower ports handle up to four cassettes at a
time. Cassettes of differents sizes can be loaded in the
tape drives installed in the system.
Care must be taken to load the cassettes in the right
direction.

Transfer check window
Position of a transfer may be checked through this
window.

Power block
This turns the power to the basic console or junction
console on and off.
For details, see “Power Block” on page 8.

Basic console (DMS-8800B/8400B)
The basic console is composed of the control block for
the robot, IN/OUT ports for cassettes, the display
panel and power block.

Junction console (DMS-8800J/8400J)
The Junction console is composed of the control block
for the robot, IN/OUT port for cassettes, junction ports
for transporting cassettes from a main line to the
branch line, the display panel and power block.
