RS-232 PARAMETER settings

Scratchpad display

Status display

BAUD = 19200 (9600, 38400)

Sets the communications speed of the RS-232C
interface.

9600: Sets the speed to 9600 bps.

19200: Sets the speed to 19200 bps.

38400: Sets the speed to 38400 bps.

Factory default setting: 19200

SETUP DATA

=19200 (9600, 38400)

FORMAT = DIS (ODD, EVEN) /8 (7) /1 (2)

Sets the communications parameters of the RS-
232C interface.

PARITY = DISABLE (ODD , EVEN)

Sets parity check to odd, even, or disabled.

DISABLE: Disables parity check.

ODD: Sets parity check to odd.

EVEN: Sets parity check to even.

Factory default setting: DISABLE

When you make a setting by pressing the ENTER
button, the system automatically enters the mode
in which you can set the next item, LENGTH.

LENGTH = 8 BITS (7 BITS)

Sets the data length.

7 BITS: Sets the data length to 7 bits.

8 BITS: Sets the data length to 8 bits.

Factory default setting: 8 BITS

When you make a setting by pressing the ENTER
button, the system automatically enters the mode
in which you can set the next item, STOP BIT.
