GPI (general purpose I/O) connector
(D-sub 25-pin)
This connector is used for the input and output of
trigger signals to and from connected equipment.
Eight input channels and eight output channels can be
used, with the specific conditions for each input and
output being set from the control panel.

TERMINAL connector (D-sub 9-pin,
RS-232C compliant)
This is connected to the control terminal and used for
monitoring by ISR (interactive status reporting), etc.

SERIAL TALLY connector (D-sub 9-pin,
RS-422A compliant)
Used for transmitting a tally signal from the switcher
to external devices.

PANEL 1 connector (D-sub 9-pin,
RS-422A compliant)
Used for connecting a BKDS-7017 control panel.

DME (digital multi effects) 1, 2 connectors (D-
sub 9-pin, RS-422A compliant)
These connectors can be connected to DME-7000
Digital Multi Effects or the like to control the
switcher’s auxiliary bus.

PANEL 2/REMOTE 3 connector
(D-sub 9-pin, RS-422A compliant)
This connector can be used to remotely control the
switcher from the BKDS-2010 subpanel or BKDS-
7060 Keyer Remote Control Panel.

EDITOR A, B / REMOTE 1, 2 connectors
(D-sub 9-pin, RS-422A compliant)
Depending on the control panel settings, these
connectors can be used to connect editors such as the
BVE-9100 Editing Control System, allowing the
switcher to be externally controlled. Normally, the
EDITOR A connector would be used, with the
EDITOR B connector being used for expansion.
When using as the REMOTE 1 and 2 connectors,
connect equipment such as the BKDS-7060, as
extension control connectors.
