LAN connection among the 
projector and computers 
(Wireless Access Point)

For details on the configuration, see 
“Configuring Using “Simple Setting” for 
Wireless Access Point Connection” on 
page 17

Setting of the security features, such as Data 
Encryption and authentication, may be 
required according to your network 
environment. We recommend that you contact 
your network administrator before 
configuration.

The configuration with Simple Setting uses a 
wizard, which prompts you to answer to 
questions step by step.
The wizard enables easier configuration, 
since it suggests a successful configuration 
method.

Use the menus to configure the settings, as the 
configuration with Simple Setting is not 
available in the following cases:

– When 802.1x Authentication of a 

wireless LAN is required to be set

– When you want to make a Data 

Encryption setting for an Ad-hoc (Peer-
to-peer) connection over a wireless LAN

– When you change Common Setting 

items such as Projector Name and 
Password

– When you initialize the Network Setting
