NFC
NFC (Near-Field Communication) is a short-range wireless technology that lets you
exchange data with other devices, including a web page address, a music file, a contact,
or a link to an application on Google Play™. Using NFC, you can also scan special tags
that give you more information about a product or service.
To scan or share a tag, you have to hold the NFC detection area of your phone right over
the tag or next to the NFC detection area of the other device. The maximum reading
distance is about one centimeter, which helps prevent unauthorized communications.
NFC may not be available in all countries and/or regions.
