Radian AHRS
Radian is a versatile Attitude and Heading Reference System (AHRS) in a small,
300m or 3000m depth-rated pressure housing suitable for use in surface and sub-
surface marine applications.
It uses data supplied by three-axis arrays of solid state linear accelerometers, rate-
of-turn gyros, and earth magnetic field sensors to calculate and output measure-
ments of gyro-compensated magnetic heading, pitch, roll, heave, rate of turn, and
acceleration.
Embedded high-performance processing ensures Radian can continue to deliver
high output rates, even in dynamic environments.
Radian is fully compatible with Sonardyne’s sub-sea positioning systems.
