Make sure the crane and all lifting equipment has been calibrated and is certified.

Read and obey all the manufacturer’s applicable safety and operating instructions.

Make sure you wear the correct protective clothing and equipment.

Make sure the work area is clean and clear of unwanted equipment and materials.
