active sound box!
THE STEREO AUDIO INPUT (LINE IN, AUX)
If you have such device which is equipped with 3,5 mm audio output o
r
headphone
socket, then you can listen to it through the external speaker in good quality. Connect
the green stereo plug to a stereo audio device. Turn on the signal source and –
if
needed – start playing. Set to centre position the volume control of player device. After
that switch on the speaker box with the
POWER/VOLUME
rotation knob, then set the
volume. Adjust bass and treble tone as desired.
•
The available sound quality depends on the quality of audio signal provided by the
external device.
•
It is recommended to switch off tone adjustment on the player device, and use only on the
speaker box.
•
The small signal (volume) entering the sound box may cause excessive noise and the
too big signal can cause distortion. It is recommended to keep the volume of signal
source at medium level.
•
If the headphone output cannot accept stereo plugs which diameter is different from
3,5 mm, then purchasing of external adapter may needed.
WIRELESS CONNECTION
Beside wired input, it is available to connect external devices through wireless BT
connection. This can be e.g. mobile phone with BT protocol, tablet, computer or smart
TV. Search for BT devices nearby, including this one, as shown in the instruction manual
of the device to be paired. Connect the two devices to each other. Thereafter the
selected programme will be audible through the sound box.
LED indicator will be flashing during BT pairing. Pairing has to be performed at that
time. After successful pairing a voice signal will be heard, and LED flashing will stop.
•
Before starting the procedure, disconnect other BT devices connected previously.
•
One speaker can be paired wirelessly with one BT appliance at the same time.
•
It is possible to connect two signal sources at the same time. One can connect with
wired solution, the other wirelessly.
•
After switching on, it will automatically re-connect to the previously paired and properly
connected device if it is switched on nearby.
•
In case the wireless connection would lost, switch off and back on if necessary, in
order to reactivate the pairing mode.
•
If the connected mobile phone receives call during music playback, music playing will
be paused. After the conversation has finished, restart the playing on the phone.
•
Actual operation range depends on the other device and the environmental
conditions. (e.g. walls, human bodies, other electric appliances, moving…)
•
Radio-frequency operated devices working in the near may cause irregular operation
or noise, it doesn't indicate malfunction of the device!
•
Unique features of the external device can cause irregular operation, this is not the
malfunction of the device! Due to unique features of the mobile device, the BT
function may work limited.
MAXIMUM VOLUME
All speakers have to be broken in prior to proper use. Operate only at 50 % load for the
first 30–50 hours of operation!
During this time, do not raise the volume near the top of
the maximum load ability! At higher volume settings – in some cases – distorted, bad
sound quality may be experienced. This may be caused by an overly high input signal
level. In case of distorted sound set the volume down immediately, or shut down the
appliance if necessary! Connecting the wrong signal level devices can easily cause
over-control. The maximum volume of the system is that which can be heard in high
quality without distortion.
•
When turning the volume up beyond this point, output power will not increase, while
the distortion level will grow! This is very harmful to the speakers and may lead to
faults!
