5.7 Flow Sensor (Thermistor)
The flow sensor measures the nasal oral flow of the patient. Look at
Fig. 5-49 to fit the sensor on
the patients face. Notice that the two red coloured elements of the sensor have to be fitted directly
below the nostrils. The green
coloured element has to be fitted in front of the patient’s mouth. Use the
fixing tube to secure the sensor. Additional you can adapt the sensor to the patients face by light
bending.
