E4. SETTING OF THE LOCKING SYSTEM AT LOWER END LIMIT
The locking system at the lower end limit my vary
depending on the driven product, but the procedure
for setting the entrance/exit positions of the catches
remains the same on all systems.
1)
Position the driven product at its half-way position.
2)
Press and hold the “Up” and “Down” buttons
simultaneously for 5 seconds: the driven product
performs an initial brief up and down movement, then
a second, slower up and down movement.
3)
Press the “Down” button: the driven product lowers.
4)
Press the “my” button to stop the product at position
(P1), which corresponds to the locking system’s
entrance point.
5)
Press the “my” and “Up” buttons simultaneously: the
driven product raises and stops, putting tension on
the fabric.
6)
Press the “Down” button: the driven product lowers.
7)
Press the “my” button to stop the driven product
at position (P2), which corresponds to the locking
system’s exit point.

Press “my” until the driven product moves up and

Set the advanced functions after having performed the end limit settings (§2.3.4) and
before programming the Somfy io-homecontrol local control point (§2.3.6).

A. “BACK-RELEASE” FUNCTION FOR DRIVEN PRODUCTS WITH TOP STOP ONLY
This function releases tension on the fabric after the driven product is closed at the top
stop against the head rail.
The Back Release function is deactivated by default.

To activate or deactivate the function:
1)
Place the driven product at its upper end limit.
2)
Press the “my” and “Down” buttons simultaneously

If the “Back release” function was deactivated, it is
now activated.
If the “Back release” function was activated, it is now deactivated.

In order to check the “Back release” function, position the driven product at its half-way
position, then press “Up” to raise the driven product to the top stop.
