operation in automatic mode
In automatic mode, the gate closes automatically after 30 seconds.
Precautions for use

To use your gate in automatic mode, standard EN 12 453 requires that a set of photoelectric cells
be installed (see description and wiring information on pages 12 and 13).
Somfy recommends the installation of an orange light (see description and wiring information on
pages 15 and 16) and a lighting area (see wiring on page 16).

In automatic mode, the gate will close automatically after 30 seconds.
In case an obstacle is detected on closing, the gate stops and opens fully.Close the gate by

if you move in front of the cells, the gate will close automatically after 5 seconds.
operation in high-speed mode (see page 11 to activate this mode)
In high-speed mode, the gate opens 3 m every 11 seconds instead of 3 m every 16 seconds as at
normal speed.
Obstacle detection operation
If an obstacle is detected:
on opening, the gate stops and moves backwards slightly,

on closing, the gate stops and opens fully.

Area lighting comes on each time the motor is switched on. It switches off after 1 minute 30.
