SSL UC1 User Guide
Central Control Panel
The Central Control Panel of UC1 is used to perform a number of key functions relating to the plug-ins and the Plug-in Mixer.

7-Segment Display
Displays the position of the selected channel strip plug-in in the
Plug-in Mixer
.

CHANNEL Encoder
Changes the selected channel strip plug-in being controlled by UC1.

Channel Strip Model
Displays the channel strip model being controlled by UC1.

Channel Strip Name
Displays the name of the DAW track the channel strip plug-in is inserted on in the DAW. Immediately below, a value readout is
temporarily displayed whilst a channel strip control is being adjusted.

Bus Compressor Name
Displays the name of the DAW track the Bus Compressor 2 plug-in is inserted on in the DAW. Immediately below, a value readout
is temporarily displayed whilst a Bus Compressor control is being adjusted.

Secondary Encoder
By default this control changes the selected Bus Compressor but it can also be used to change the process order for channel
strip (
ROUTING
), select
PRESETS
or navigate the DAW's playhead cursor when in
TRANSPORT
mode (accessed by pushing
the encoder from Bus Comp mode).
TRANSPORT
mode requires HUI/MCU setup, detailed in this User Guide.

BACK
Button
From the
MAIN
screen, pushing the back button will take you to the
EXTENDED FUNCTIONS
menu for channel strips.
Otherwise, it is used to navigate back up through the
PRESETS
list or, when in
TRANSPORT
mode, this functions as the Stop
command.

CONFIRM
Button
When in the
EXTENDED FUNCTIONS
menu, can be used to confirm the parameter selection. Also used to navigate forward
through the
PRESETS
list or confirms preset loading. When in
TRANSPORT
mode, this functions as the Play command.
