INSTALLATION INFORMATION
Your SÓLAS fireplace is equipped with a Comfort
Blower to help efficiently move heat into your living
space.
The Comfort Blower has
4 speed levels controlled
by the SÓLAS One-Touch remote. See bottom right
column of page 36 for details on remote operation.
In the event of a power outage, your fireplace will
continue to operate, but the Comfort Blower will not
function. Once power is restored you can use the
Comfort Blower.
We recommend using your Comfort Blower on speed
1 or 2 which will help move a sufficient amount of
warm air from your fireplace into your heating zone
while remaining quiet. With the increased air speed
of levels 3 and 4, there will be a noticeable difference
in sound.
We recommend during the annual service on your
fireplace Comfort Blower, use a vacuum and/or
compressed air to remove any dust, pet hair etc.
When servicing your fireplace, first shut off power
to it.
The Comfort Blower is located to the left of the
gas valve located under the air screen assembly.
(as shown in image below). To gain access to the
Comfort Blower please see page 26 first for
Screen Removal.
In the event your Comfort Blower needs replacing, a
licensed service technician can remove the Comfort
Blower by removing the (2) 1/4-20 nuts with a 7/16"
driver, located on each side of the Comfort Blower
as shown in the image below.
