24VDC PRO-Verter 7000-120 AGS Operator Manual
the protection circuits will engage and shut down the transformer to prevent damage.
• “
FET OVERTEMP
” - When the temperature reported from the FET sensor reaches 185ºF (85ºC),
the FET circuit will shut down to protect itself from damage.
If either of these fault conditions occur, let the unit cool down before returning to service and check
the conditions of the air filters.
These behaviors will be observable as a result of high operating temperature:
• Inverter derating will cause the generator to start frequently, transferring support of the load to
the generator to allow the inverter to cool down. “Overtemp Fault” may appear on the LCD User
Interface.
• Charger derating will cause the PRO-Verter CHG LED to blink red and the charging current to the
ESMs to decrease temporarily to allow the charger to cool down
PRO-Verter Internal Cooling
The PRO-Verter has four (4) internal cooling fans to maintain the internal temperatures within
the optimal operating range. The fans are audible when operating. Clogged air intake filters can
significantly accelerate heat-related problems, so they should be cleaned as often as necessary to
maintain maximum airflow. Clean or replace the air filter monthly, or more frequently if operating in
very dusty environments.
