SOLA 610 UPS Optional Features
4.3 Operating CheckUPS II®
Monitoring Center Configuration
The monitoring center window provides you with a view
of current UPS values. Each time CheckUPS II®
Advanced is started the monitoring center window
displays. The reading values and meter graphs are fully
configurable and can display any values provided by the
UPS.
If you would like to see other values in the window,
configuration is as easy as point and click. You can use
colour codes to warn when values are out of an
acceptable range. Configuration is explained in the
following sections.
The
Alarm
box notifies you of software and UPS events.
You can clear alarms by double-clicking on them.
Readings
The
Readings
group allows you to display seven values from
the complete list of UPS values. If you would like to change a
reading or the properties of a reading, just point to the
reading and click. The
Reading Configuration
window
displays.
Pick a value from the
Choose Data to Display
list box. The
values available will vary depending on the model of UPS.
Set the thresholds and assign colours to the ranges. When
the value is displayed in the
Readings
box, the background
colour will reflect the colour of the range. If you also display
the value as a meter, the same thresholds are used.
When you finish configuring the reading, click
OK
. If you
wish to clear the thresholds, click
Clear
. If you would like to
reset the thresholds to their default values, click
Defaults
. If
you would like to abandon all of the changes you made, and
close the
Reading Configuration
window, click
Cancel
.
