CableMaster 800
CABLEMASTER 800/850 APPLICATION
The CableMaster 800/850 Application gives you the ability to view, save and print
cable and network test results to your computer. This application can also update your
CableMaster 800/850’s firmware.
• Additional features include the ability to perform network tests such as Link
• Validation and Throughput Testing
Note: The CableMaster 800/850 is Windows XP, Vista, 7, and 8 compatible. MAC and
Linux are currently not supported.
TO INSTALL THE CABLEMASTER 800/850 APPLICATION
• Go to http://itnetworks.softing.com/en/downloads/download-center.html to
download the CableMaster 800/850 software application
• Save the Net Testet Software.zip file to your computer’s desktop. Right click on the
.zip file and click on Extract All
• Double click on the CableMaster 800/850 x.xx folder
• Double-click on “setup.exe” to begin the installation
TEST RESULTS
• Open the CableMaster 800/850 application by double clicking on the application
shortcut on your desktop
• Connect the CableMaster 800/850 to your computer with the included micro USB
cable
• Power on the CableMaster 800/850.
The software will display “CableMaster
800/850 connected” at the bottom left of the application screen
• Click on Read Net Tester to read the test results. The cable names will be displayed
in the Test
• Results window. The first cable name will automatically be selected and displayed at
the top right
