Note:
If the port channel admin key (lacp admin key, page 4-171) is not
set (through the CLI) when a channel group is formed (i.e., it has a
null value of 0), this key is set to the same value as the port admin
key used by the interfaces that joined the group (lacp admin key, as
described in this section and on page 4-170).
Command Attributes
Set Port Actor –
This menu sets the local side of an aggregate link;
i.e., the ports on this switch.
•
Port
– Port number. (Range: 1-26)
•
System Priority
– LACP system priority is used to determine link
aggregation group (LAG) membership, and to identify this device to
other switches during LAG negotiations.
(Range: 0-65535; Default: 32768)
- Ports must be configured with the same system priority to join the
same LAG.
- System priority is combined with the switch’s MAC address to form
the LAG identifier. This identifier is used to indicate a specific LAG
during LACP negotiations with other systems.
•
Admin Key
– The LACP administration key must be set to the same
value for ports that belong to the same LAG.
(Range: 0-65535; Default: 1)
•
Port Priority
– If a link goes down, LACP port priority is used to select
a backup link. (Range: 0-65535; Default: 32768)
Set Port Partner
– This menu sets the remote side of an aggregate link; i.e.,
the ports on the attached device. The command attributes have the same
meaning as those used for the port actor. However, configuring LACP
settings for the partner only applies to its administrative state, not its
operational state, and will only take effect the next time an aggregate link is
established with the partner.
