ASSEMBLE DOORS 

SELECT: 

 

3 x 1.810 m Door Sheets 

2 x 0.945 m  Door Top/Bottom Channels 

2 x 0.495 m  Door Top/Bottom Channels 

4 x 1.810 m Door Side Flashings 

2 x 1.255 m  Door Brace Flashings 

2 x 0.975 m  Door Brace Flashings 

1 x 1.810 m Weatherstrip 

6 x Hinges 

1 x Padbolt Support Flashing 

70 x Rivets 

LARGE DOOR    STEP 1: 

 

 

Lay out door sheets on a flat surface making sure narrow pans 

are on the outside. 

 

 

Slide door top and bottom channels on each  

      end as shown in 

fig. 1

 

 

 

Rivet sheets together. 

STEP 2: 

 

 

Position door side flash-

ings and assemble door 

as shown. 

 

 

Drill and rivet as per dia-

gram, ensuring rivets 

penetrate into door sheet. 

STEP 4: 

 

 

Rivet door brace flashings onto back of door as 

shown. Where possible, rivet from front of door. 

 

 

Ensure the door brace flashings are at least 50mm 

from top and bottom of door, and 10mm from the 

side to clear top and bottom timber plate, when 

hung.

STEP 3: 

 

 

Attach hinges to door side channel using rivets pro-

vided. 

 

 

Using one rivet, attach padbolt support as shown in 

fig. 2

 

NARROW PANS 

SMALL DOOR: 

 

 

Assemble small door in same way as large door 

using 0.495 m top and bottom channels.  

 

 

Before screwing on 0.975m door braces, attach weather strip 

flashing to back of door side channel using six rivets ensuring it protrudes 

20mm out from door side.
