MOUNTING THE ALARM
IMPORTANT: Do not attach the Tether String to a
pool ladder, a handle or any other object in or
near the pool.
NOTE: The Tether Clip is supplied with an
adhesive backing which can be applied to smooth,
clean surfaces such as metal or plastic. Abrasive
or uneven surfaces such as concrete or wood
may require additional adhesives or other means
of secure the alarm.
Refer to Figure 7 for the following instructions.
1)Locate the section of the pool where the
alarm will be installed using the above
instructions. REMINDER: Depending on
pool size and shape, multiple alarms may
be required.
2)Ensure the area where the Tether Clip will
be installed is clean and dry.
3)Peel the backing from the Tether Clip and
press the clip firmly into place, ensuring
the open end of the clip is facing away
from the pool.
4)Adjust the length of the Tether String, so
that the alarm is within 5” of the pool wall.
5)Tie a knot in the Tether String and clip the
string into the Tether Clip. Cut off any
excess string.

ACTIVATING THE ALARM
1)Once the alarm is correctly positioned and
mounted, hold the Magnetic Key against
the icon on the top casing of the alarm
until the light flashes RED and beeps once
(key will not stick to casing) as shown in
Figure 8. This allows time to enter the
alarm into the water without the alarm
sounding.
