INSTALLING THE BATTERIES
Two 9V batteries are required to operate the
alarm. One battery will be installing the floating
alarm and one battery will be installing in the
remote receiver as a backup in a case where
power is lost to the outlet.
Remote Receiver
1)Remove the battery cover on the back of
the remote receiver by depressing the tab.
2)Locate the wiring harness and clip the
battery into the harness.
3)Seat the connected battery into the casing
of the remote receiver and reinstall the
battery cover.
NOTE: The RED LED will light and the siren will
beep twice when the remote is activated.
Alarm
1)Place the Alarm Body on the Alarm Stand
(do not lay the alarm on its side) as shown
in Figure 2.
2)Remove the (4) screws from the top casing
of the Alarm Body as shown in Figure 3.
3)Gently lift the top casing and locate the
battery wiring harness as shown in Figure 4.
4)Clip the 9V battery into the wiring harness
and secure the battery in the locking tabs
as shown in Figure 5.
5)Carefully reseat the top casing into the
gasket, by aligning the key/notch of the top
and bottom casings as shown in Figure 6.
6)Reinstall the (4) screws to complete the
battery installation in the alarm.
