
Locking the vehicle

If children are left unsupervised in the
vehicle, they could:

open doors, thereby endangering other
persons or road users

get out and be struck by oncoming
traffic
R
operate vehicle equipment and become
trapped, for example
In addition, the children could also set
the vehicle in motion by, for example:

releasing the parking brake
R
shifting the transmission out of park
position

R
starting the vehicle's drive system
There is a risk of an accident and injury.
When leaving the vehicle, always take
the key with you and lock the vehicle.
Never leave children and animals unat-
tended in the vehicle. Keep the keys out
of the reach of children.

The turn signals flash twice.
Priming and deactivating the anti-
theft alarm system
Useful information
The immobiliser prevents the vehicle from
being started without the correct key. It is
switched on and off automatically.
The anti-theft alarm system triggers a vis-
ual and audible alarm if a door, the tailgate
or the service cover is opened.
The alarm is not switched off, even if, for
example, you close the open door that has
triggered it.

Close the service cover.

alarm system is primed after approx-
imately 30 seconds.
