Using the reversing camera
Please note
The reversing camera is only an aid. It is
not a substitute for your attention to the
immediate surroundings. The responsibil-
ity for safe manoeuvring and parking
remains with you. Make sure that there are
no persons, animals or objects etc., in the
manoeuvring area while manoeuvring or
parking.
!
If the rear of your vehicle is damaged,
consult a qualified specialist workshop
and have the reversing camera checked.
!
Objects that are not at ground level
appear further away than they actually
are, for example:
R
the bumper of the vehicle parked
behind
R
the drawbar of a trailer
R
the ball coupling of a trailer tow hitch
R
the tail-end of a lorry
R
slanted posts
Only use the image from the reversing
camera as a guide. You may otherwise
damage your vehicle and/or the object.

dle
R

The function of the reversing camera is
limited:
R
if the tailgate is open
R

bright
R
if there is fluorescent light shining, e.g.
under fluorescent lamps or LED lighting
R
if the outside temperature changes
quickly
R
if the camera lens is dirty, obstructed or
R
if the camera or the rear of your vehicle
is damaged
i
The display contrast may be impaired
due to incident sunlight or other light
sources, e.g. if the vehicle is being driven
out of a garage. In this case, pay special
attention.
