SPEEDBAR
Attach the speedbar to the bottom of the footboard with a bowline knot and run the lines up
inside the speedbag, through the pulley, and then out through the grommet in the side of the
harness.
ASSEMBly
The RANGE X-ALPS should be adjusted and inspected together with your dealer.
If the reserve parachute is being installed for the first time, a compatibility check should be
conducted. You can then make basic adjustments yourself while sitting in a harness simulator.
MAIN CARABINER
The main carabiner hooks through eight loops that are
attached directly to the seat, as well as through one
connecting line per carabiner to the top of the footboard,
and finally through two harness loops to secure
the outer skin.
CAUTION
THE USE OF SOFTlINkS (ClOTH lOOPS) IS NOT
AllOWED DUE TO THE NEED FOR THE ADjUST-
MENT STRAPS TO TWIST IN THE CARABINER.
CONNECTION FROM THE SEAT TO THE FOOTBOARD
The lines attached to each carabiner are fed through a conduit in the side of the harness
and then attached at the desired position in the knot string on the top of the footboard.
The knot used here is known as a lark’s head knot.
