2) The flashing letter “A” indicates the force setting is set to
“Auto” adjustment, that means the opening force will be
adjusted automatically, so it operates at the most efficient
setting. This is also the recommended setting. To select
“A”, press “SET” button when letter “A” is shown.
3) To change the force setting, press “up / down” buttons, so
“A” will change to “1”, “2”, “3” and “4”. “1” is the lowest
force setting, and “4” is the highest force setting. After
selecting the desired setting, press the “SET” button.
4) After setting the Up Force Setting, you are ready to
program the Down Force Setting. The “down arrow” will
appear on the display. Follow the same procedure to
select the down force adjustment, from “1” to “4” and “A”.
again, “A” is the recommended setting.
5) You have now finished setting the Up and Down Force
Setting, the Wall Console will begin another programming
sequence: Program Remote Controls.

Test Safety Reversal System
With the door fully open, place a 1-1/2” (3.8cm) board (or a
2X4 laid flat) on the floor, centered under the garage door.
Close the door by pressing the push button.(SET button)
After making contact with the board, door must stop on
striking the obstruction, then reverse to the fully open
position.
On the Wall Console, you should see “ ” icon on the
display indicating there is a failure during operation, and the
opener light will flash caused by the safety reversal system.
If the door fails to reverse:
- If the door stops on the obstruction, re-adjust the down
travel limit as it is not traveling far enough in the down
direction.
- Repeat the test until the door reverses on striking the
obstruction.

Test Safety Beam Sensor System
To test the safety beam sensor system, open the door to the
fully open position.
1) Place an obstacle (such as the opener carton) to break
the safety infrared beam
2) Press the push button to close the door
3) The following will happen:

The door should not move more than an inch
.
The opener light will flash
.
The Wall Console will also display “ ”, which
indicates the Safety Beam Sensor is activated.
If these do not happen:
- Ensure the safety beam sensors are aligned properly
(Refer to “Install Safety Beam Sensor System”)
- Ensure the obstacle is breaking the beam by checking
the receiving sensor green LED is off
- If everything fails, call for a trained door systems
