70 Using MY SKY
Solving problems
Your remote control
isn’t working. Something is between
the remote control
and
MY SKY .
Make sure you point your remote control directly at
MY SKY and that nothing is between it and MY SKY .
The ir receive light on MY SKY’s front panel should
flash each time you press a remote control button.
The batteries are flat
or inserted the wrong
way round. Check the batteries and replace them if necessary.
MY SKY may be in
‘loop-through’ mode
because you pressed
the
av button (see
page 59).
If you want to watch digital TV, press av on your
remote control to return to viewing SKY.
You can’t use your
SKY remote control
to operate
MY SKY .

your PIN. Call your SKY provider for advice.
You are having
difficulties using a
SKY interactive
feature, such as
Active or Box Office. There may be a
problem with your
telephone line. Check that the telephone lead between MY SKY
and the telephone point is properly plugged
in. (Always switch
MY SKY off at the power supply
before plugging or unplugging any other
equipment.)
Check that the telephone line is working by picking
up your telephone and listening for the tone.
