4.1 Installation in an existing wall or element
Place the inlet in the middle of the wall hole using wedges.
Do not press the inlet into place during assembly as this may cause the inlet frame to warp so that the
flap cannot close tightly.
Point the inlet as shown in the drawing. Point in the entire depth of the inlet in the corners of the inlet
and approx. 10 cm to each side. On the middle part of the inlet, it is important only to point the edge as
the joint may otherwise cause the inlet to warp. We recommend using a caulking gun.
SKOV A/S recommends using winter foam. It MUST be without any isocyanates.
Important! Wet the joint faces with water from a mist sprayer before proceeding with the pointing.
4.2 Building-in the Inlet
Place the wall inlet horizontally, flush with the finished
inner wall. Ensure that the flap faces towards the
building with the transportation screw at the top.
Lay the inlet "loosely" down into the mortar and fix it
symmetrically to prevent unnecessary loads which may
cause the inlet to warp.
