7. Insert folded paper between riving knife and
fence.
a. Hold the riving knife and paper firmly
against the fence (Fig. 36).
b. Lightly tighten the clamp screws.
c. Remove the paper and move the fence
away from blade.
d. Slowly turn the set screw while watching
the riving knife tilt until it is in line with the
blade.
e. Recheck squareness of riving knife to ta-
ble by sliding the fence against blade. Re-
adjust if necessary.
8. After completing adjustments:
a. Lightly tighten the hex nut (hold the set
screw in position with a screwdriver while
tightening nut).
b. Fully tighten clamp screws with an Allen
wrench. Then fully tighten the hex nut.

NOTE: Check that the riving knife stays in line
with the blade when the blade is tilted at any
angle. Replace the Barrier Guard Assembly and
Anti-Kickback Device before making cuts.

ADJUSTING THE TABLE INSERT
The table insert slot contains four (4) adjustment
screws for adjusting the height of the table insert
(Fig. 37). Place the insert onto the table. Place a
straight edge (such as the metal ruler from a com-
bination square) across the table top and insert
top. If adjustment is necessary, use the included
2 mm “L” wrench (packed with the table insert) to
rotate each set screw up or down. The insert
should be slightly below the table at the front and
slightly above the table at the back.
