For spreading, the ma-
chine must be positioned
as shown in fig. 6.9. The
left side rake assembly

ing position and locked
with pin 65 and the tines
rotated as indicated in
the figure, strut 18 must
be attached to hole L.
For spreading, the two
rotors must rotate in op-
posite
directions
as
shown by the arrows in
Fig. 6.10 (to obtain rota-
tion in opposite direc-
tions, move shift lever 53
into position C, making sure that the tines of the two rotors are offset).
If the tines are not positioned correctly, pull on the tine so that the pin comes out of hole A and insert it in
hole B.
The wheel height and the tilt of the machine must be adjusted to the working conditions; however it is prefer-
able to work with the wheels in the middle height position and the tilt of the machine must be such that the
tines brush the ground in
front.
