DELIVERY AND ASSEMBLY
22
5.2.9
In order to continue assembly safely and correctly, you must now raise
the machine.
You can use a suitably strong lifting device (crane/winch forklift) or a
tractor with a 3-point linkage matching that of the machine.
Lifting with a tractor make sure the lever (1) is in the locked position.
Reverse the tractor towards the machine while lining up the tractor lifter
arms (3) and then apply the parking brake. Remove the ignition key from
the instrument panel. Insert the brackets at the ends of the arms (3) in
the pins (2) and lock them with split pins (4). Fit the upper tie rod (5) into the seating shown and lock it with
the pin (6) and split pin (7). Adjust the tie rod until the rotors of the machine are parallel with the ground.
Stabilise the machine by stopping any oscillation with the tighteners (8). Now, the machine may be raised
with the tractor lifter.
Make sure all these operations are correctly carried out before proceeding to the next phase.
