Do not use the SISSEL
®
heating pillow on persons who cannot move without help,
infants, persons who cannot feel heat, or animals.
Persons who can feel heat to some extent may only use the SISSEL
®
heating pillow with
supervision.
Do not operate the SISSEL
®
heating pillow unsupervised.
Caution! Never fall asleep while the SISSEL
®
heating pillow is in operation.
Prolonged use can cause burns on the skin.
Do not pierce the appliance with needles, pins or other sharp objects.
Do not tug or twist the power lead.
Do not expose the switch or power lead to moisture or liquids.
In case of malfunction, do not use and contact the manufacturer.
If the supply cord is damaged, it should be replaced by the distributor or its service agent
or similar qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
Do not use the appliance when it is damp or wet.
The device may not be switched on using a time switch.
The switch should not be placed on or beneath the appliance or be covered when the
appliance is in use.
Avoid sharp bending or bundling of the appliance.
While the appliance is switched on:
o
Do not place any large or heavy objects on it such as suitcases, etc.,
o
Do not place any source of heat on it such as hot water bottles, heating pads or
suchlike.
o
Do not allow the switch to be concealed under blankets, pillows or the like or lie
on the SISSEL
®
heating pillow.
Do not fold the SISSEL
®
heating pillow when it’s hot.
Examine the appliance frequently for signs of wear or damage. If there are such sign or if
the appliance has been misused or does not work, do not use.
The SISSEL
®
heating pillow is only to be used by children over the age of three under the
supervision of parents or guardians. It should be ensured that they do not play with the
appliance.
Children below the age of 3 years are not allowed to use this device due to their inability
to react to overheating.
This appliance can be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the
appliance in a safe way and understand the possible hazards involved.
When the appliance is likely to be used for an extended period, the control should be
adjusted to setting 1 for continuous use.
When the appliance is not in use:
o
The plug should be removed from the mains and the appliance should be stored
dry, without additional weight on it.
o
The connector should be disconnected from the appliance to avoid damage
caused by twist or bend of the power cord.
When not in use, store as follows:
o
When storing the appliance, allow it to cool down before folding.
o
Do not crease the appliance by placing items on top of it during storage.
