SLT978 INSTALLATION
Remove the product from the package and place
it on a suitable surface: we suggest using a soft
material, such as a sponge or cloth.
Open the panel by turning it as shown in Fig. 1,
take the led lamp from the package, insert the 4
steel cables of the lamp in the upper casing (fig.
28), pay attention the steel cables with the labels
must be inserted respectively in the 2 holes posi-
tioned near the electrical system (fig. 28A).
Fasten the cable and adjust the desired height
of the lamp from the floor, acting in the clamping
clamp of the cable as shown in fig. 29.
For a good installation, position the lamp at an
height of 1200mm from the top panel of the hood
and 700mm from the cook-top (see fig. 30), to
position it easily, take the cable out of the cable
clamp at a height of 80 mm (fig .30A).
Remove the grease filters (fig.3).
Unscrew the 4 fixing screws (Fig.4), separate the
hood frame from the upper part (Fig.5) and di-
sconnect the electric cable (Fig.5A).
Cut-out Dimensions:
915 mm x 425 mm
The distance between the plasterboard and the
ceiling must be between 200 mm and 280 mm.
Make the four holes in the solid ceiling using an
8mm helical bit, following the dimensions in fig. 6.
Insert the dowels supplied in the holes made.
Insert the threaded rods in the previously installed
dowels.
Screw the threaded rods using two nuts, as shown
in fig. 7, act in the low nut to screw the threaded rod.
Insert an additional nut and the plastic locking wa-
sher as shown in figure 8.
It is crucial, for a correct installation, to place the
metal washer 190mm high from the bottom surface
of the plasterboard, see fig. 9.
Install the upper part of the hood in the plasterboard
niche already made, the 4 holes must coincide with
the threaded bars previously installed, as shown in
fig. 10.
Bring the product to the stop of the washers pre-
viously positioned.
Secure the product with the 4 washers and 4 nuts
supplied. (fig. 11)
Connect the air outlet ducting (fig. 12).
Take the frame of the dismantled hood and position
it under the opening made in the plasterboard (fig.
13).
Connect the previously disconnected motor ca-
ble (fig. 14A), the power supply cable and make
the electrical connection of the lamp, be careful
not to confuse the positive, negative and earth
polarities indicated by the labels on the electrical
cables (fig. 14B).
Fasten the frame to the upper part of the hood
using n. 4 screws (fig. 15).
Take the panel and hook it to the frame as shown
in figure 33.
