Default Register Settings
Table 8 shows the default register settings for the video standards supported by PT9. On assertion
of RESETn the NTSC-M standard settings are loaded into the registers.
Note that, if Control Register bit 7 is asserted (Auto-register = ‘1’), then the hard-wired values will
be used by PT9 depending on the video standard selected by Control Register 1, bits [5:4]. The
hard-wired values are those shown in Table 8.
Also note that, for the 525 line standard, the horizontal timing values ‘wrap’ at 1715

($6B3) and
the vertical values at 524

($20C). For the 625 line standard, the horizontal timing values ‘wrap’ at
