Monthly inspection
The following inspection should be carried out every month, and the results recorded in the
log sheet on the following page.

Conduct a complete tipping cycle and check for

Hydraulic rams
Check there are no oil leaks.

Oil reservoir
Check the level of hydraulic fluid. If necessary, top-
up with new fluid as per specifications in

Power lead (if
fitted)
Check that the lead is in good condition.

Door interlock
actuators
Check that the actuators are securely attached to
the door with security screws, and enter the
interlocks freely and smoothly, without force.
Check that the actuators lock the door while the
cradle is raised above 100mm.
Mechanical
systems

Inside masts
Lightly lubricate with silicone spray.

Roller arms
Lightly lubricate with silicone spray.

Door hinges
Lightly lubricate with silicone spray.

Cradle axles
Lightly lubricate with silicone spray.

Castor wheels
Check that the castor wheels are running smoothly
and the brakes working correctly.
