Audio NAC Wiring
(with Constant
Supervision)
1. Leave the 10 K, ½ W resistors (378-030 – brown/black/orange) on the “B+” and “B-” terminals of
unused circuits.
2. Remove the 10 K resistors from the “B+” and “B-” terminals on the XSIG card.
3. All wiring is between 18 AWG (0.8231 mm
2
) (minimum) and 12 AWG (3.309 mm
2
) (maximum).
4. Field wiring is power-limited.
5. Maximum speaker load per NAC is 50 W. Maximum current per NAC is 1.4 A. Maximum number of
speakers per NAC is 100.
6. Shields, when required, are normally connected to 0 V as shown. Alternate shield termination using
earth ground is provided on amplifier chassis.
7. Signal wiring must test free of all grounds.
