Troubleshooting
Malfunction Cause
Remedy
The appliance is
not working.
The plug is not inserted into a
mains power socket.
Connect the plug to the power supply.
The appliance is defective.
Contact the Customer Service
department.
The "Add water"
lamp
lights up.
There is not enough water in
the water tank .
Fill the water tank
as described in the
section "Filling the appliance".
The water filter in the water
tank is blocked.
Remove any deposits or objects that are
blocking the water filter.
If necessary, you can remove the water filter
by pulling it straight upwards. Replace it
before using the appliance again.
To deal with stubborn deposits, proceed as
described in the section "Cleaning and care".
The pump is defective.
Contact the Customer Service
department.
The "Ice full"
lamp
lights up.
The ice basket is full.
Remove some ice cubes from the ice
basket .
The infra red sensors above
the ice basket are dirty.
Clean the infra red sensors with a soft
cloth.
The infrared sensors above the
ice basket are defective.
Contact the Customer Service
department.
The "Add water"
lamp and
the "Ice full"
lamp
light up.
The ice cube tray in the rear
part of the appliance is
blocked.
Check whether the ice cube tray is
blocked, e.g. by an ice cube, and remove
the blockage.
Pull the plug from the mains socket and
plug it back in again, then restart the
appliance.
No ice cubes
are produced.
The water or ambient
temperature is too high.
