Connecting radio and cell phone
If the option “visible to everyone” is activated on your cell phone, the switched-on Bluetooth car radio CRB-531 automatically
connects with your cell phone as soon as it’s in the vicinity. If the option “hidden” is activated on your cell phone, a manual
pairing order is required for the cell phone (please check the user manual of your cell phone for exact information about this). If
the telephone and device are connected to each other through Bluetooth, the BTI-LED lights continuously.
Note:
A cell phone with the activated option “visible to everyone” also allows third parties to see your device and potentially access it.
Making calls
Make sure that your telephone is paired with the device. Now press the telephone button . The display will indicate “V DIAL”
and a signal tone. Clearly and distinctly speak the name of the call recipient into the microphone. As soon as your phone has
found the corresponding number, the connection is established and the conversation can begin.
Finishing the call
To end a conversation or an attempted call, please press the telephone button
briefly.
Transferring / taking a call to / from the Bluetooth car radio
During a phone call, you have the option of transferring this call to the Bluetooth car radio or receiving it from the car radio. The
transfer is followed by the audio input and output of the conversation through the car speakers or the car microphone. The
takeover is followed by the audio input and output of the conversation through the car speakers or the car microphone.
To take over a call from the Bluetooth car radio, please press the telephone button for two seconds. Now the conversation is
transferred to the cell phone and you can continue speaking even if you’re no longer within the reception range of the Bluetooth
car radio.
To transfer a telephone conversation to the Bluetooth car radio, please press the telephone button twice briefly (in some
cases it’s possible that a longer pressure is required on telephone button ). Now the conversation is being transferred to the
Bluetooth car radio and you can continue the conversation via the audio components (microphone and speakers).
Note:
A telephone conversation can only be transferred when both devices have already been paired at one point and the cell phone
is set to the mode “visible to everyone”.
